Flickr is a time suck: it's addictive like crack, computer games, or AFL (none of which I care for). I take photos with a Nikon D70 and a Canon IXUS, and upload my favourites to Flickr. Here's a selection of the most recent ones:
Most - but not all - of my photos are licensed as CC-BY, which means you can freely use them with nothing more than attribution. But Creative Commons licences deal with copyright, not moral rights or model releases, so check with me before using photos in advertising. Also ask me if you want to use photos without attribution, or photos that are "all rights reserved".

Blip.tv is an excellent service for anyone with a video blog, Internet TV show, or other video to share with the world. YouTube locks you into the one site, and is designed such that most viewing happens on the YouTube site in a Flash player. With Blip.tv, you can show your videos anywhere, choose your own format, upload multiple formats and resolutions, choose whether or not to include advertising. In my case, it's a great way to host family home videos online.
